ROH Final Battle Fight Size: ‘The Elite’ Say They’ll Be Back In New York, Kelly Klein Comments On Her Win, More

Here’s your Fight Size wrestling Update for Ring Of Honor’s ‘Final Battle’ PPV.

– Following the main event of ‘Final Battle’, according to PWInsider the crowd chanted for both SCU and The Young Bucks to not leave. Nick Jackson stated that the Hammerstein Ballroom is one of his favorite venues to wrestle in and he was joined in the ring by Matt Jackson, Adam Page, Marty Scurll and Cody. Matt Jackson got on the microphone and made it clear that he was not going to be delivering a emotional speech but he thanked the fans and Cary Silkin and added that without Cary none of what they’ve done would’ve been possible. Matt thanked Joe Koff and Greg Gilliend and told the fans to tune into ‘Being The Elite’ and that ‘The Elite’ would be back in New York City again.


– There are ROH TV tapings tomorrow in Philadelphia.


– Jeff Cobb successfully defended the ROH World Television Championship against Adam “Hangman” Page.


– Kelly Klein ended Sumie Sakai’s 8-month reign as Women Of Honor World Champion when she defeated Sumie, Madison Rayne and Karen Q in a Four Corner Survival match.


– Matt Taven put his “Real” ROH World Championship on the line against Dalton Castle and with the help of TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia, Matt Taven retained.

During the match Taven took a gruesome looking fall to the outside where he landed chest-first on the guardrail.


– Marty Scurll was able to best Christopher Daniels to hold on to his #1 contender-ship to the ROH World Title. Post-match, Christoper Daniels was given a standing ovation before being attacked by Bully Ray to set up the I Quit match versus Flip Gordon.


– During Flip Gordon and Bully Ray’s I Quit match, Flip’s girlfriend, Cary Silkin and former five-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion Sandman got involved.
