Kurt Angle Thinks Finn Balor And Ember Moon Can Carry WWE, Talks Ronda Rousey’s Progression, More

Kurt’s weekly Q&A

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle booted up the latest installment of his weekly Q&A session on his personal Facebook page. Angle last showed face on WWE programming when he was dominated by “The Scottish Beast” Drew McIntyre on the episode of RAW coming out of ‘Crown Jewel’.

The sports-entertainment company recently wrapped up their ‘Tribute To The Troops’ taping which will air on December 20th on the USA Network. Angle has been a part of ‘Tribute To The Troops’ in the past and he shared what it means to him, the in-ring performers and the troops to have that special take place:

“It’s just showing our appreciation for the troops and recognizing their sacrifices. That’s the difference. They risk their lives for our freedom. Every day should be a tribute to the troops.” Angle noted.

2018 has been an eventful year for Kurt Angle and one of the bigger highlights of his year was teaming with the current RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in her debut professional wrestling match this past April at WrestleMania 34. Kurt reflected on Ronda’s run in WWE thus far and noted that she is doing fine but there will come a point in time where she will have to do some improvising during her matches.

“Ronda has become an amazing sports entertainer. She caught on so quickly. BUT, there will come a time where she will need to do some improvising during her matches. That only comes with experience. She has proven herself to be highly respected in the pro rasslin circle, but give her another year or so of experience so she feels 1,000 percent more comfortable. I understand where she is right now because I too was pushed into a spot that only the most experienced wrestlers get to, although I didn’t have the experience…that’s the main event. Ronda is special. She will only get better.” He concluded.

WWE has a plethora of talent contracted to their company that have achievement-filled futures ahead of them. Kurt was asked who are some of the stars who he feels have the ability to carry the company and he name-dropped the likes of Ember Moon, Finn Balor, Chad Gable and Bobby Roode.

“You have guys right now that can do it.” He continued, “Some upcoming guys and girls? Finn. Roode. Gable. Ember Moon. Although I’m not crazy about him personally, Corbin will be a huge factor:)”

Kurt Angle also named his favorite MMA fighters and gave his take on the best era of professional wrestling. Head over to his Facebook page for more.
