NSAC Files Formal Complaint Against Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov For UFC 229 Brawl
A victorious Nurmagomedov would then hop the cage to get after Dillon Danis, instigating a huge brawl between both fighters teams and corners.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has been investigating the brawl for over a month now and they have now filed a formal complaint against the UFC 229 main event competitors. The complaint can be viewed by clicking here.
NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett will suggest what action he believes the NSAC should take, but it is going to be up to the counsel as a whole to make a decision as to what punishment(s) that McGregor and Nurmagomedov will get.
Nurmagomedov has been accused of refusing to comply with orders from the NSAC during the brawl, while also been accused of striking McGregor’s cornermen, security guards and UFC personnel. McGregor has been accused of refusing to comply with NSAC orders during the brawl, plus hitting Abubakar Nurmagomedov during the ruckus and has been charged with violating state laws.
Both Nurmagomedov and McGregor could be subject to such fines/penalties as a suspension/revocation of their fighting licenses in the state of Nevada, a lifetime ban from fighting, a withholding their whole fight purses, paying any legal fees surrounding the brawl and other penalties as directed by the commission.
McGregor and Nurmagomedov are set to have their hearing on December 10, it is unknown if the fighters are going to be in attendance at that time.
