Sheamus Issues Open Challenge After The Bar vs. The Usos Gets Added To Tonight’s SmackDown Live
A non-title bout has been added to SmackDown Live.
WWE announced that The Bar will face The Usos on tonight’s edition of SmackDown.
The Usos continued their hot streak by notching a victory over The New Day to earn the captaincy of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, then leading Team Blue to victory in the 10-on-10 Tag Team Elimination Match against Team Raw by emerging as the bout’s sole survivors.
Now, Jimmy & Jey Uso will turn their attention toward Team Blue’s top tandem: SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar. These two teams will clash in non-title action Tuesday night. Can The Usos thrust themselves back into the title picture, or will Sheamus & Cesaro prove why they set the bar for tag teams?
After the bout had already been announced, Sheamus took to Twitter to issue an open challenge.
This is an OPEN CHALLENGE to ANY Tag Team on #SDLive. Step-Up to #TheBar… who wants their shot?
*Note: open challenge excludes New Day because who needs more of that.. am i right? Terms & Conditions Apply. #nomorepancakes

Also set for tonight’s edition of SmackDown are the returns of AJ Styles and Becky Lynch. Neither competitor has been on SmackDown since the Nov. 13 edition of the show.
Fightful will provide live coverage of SmackDown beginning tonight at 8 p.m. ET. Immediately following the show, Sean Ross Sapp and Alex Pawlowski will recap all the action on the post-show podcast.
