Big Show Says He Has A Few Years Left In WWE; Still Hopeful To Compete Against Shaq

Big Show isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The 46-year-old veteran returned from hip surgery last month, making an immediate impact on SmackDown. At SmackDown 1000, Show helped Sheamus and Cesaro win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles from The New Day. Since then, he has served as the enforcer for the Bar in their feud with Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston.

Speaking to TMZ, Show revealed that he feels good after taking a year off. “I’m having fun. I signed a new deal last year, I have a few years left.”

While Show has wrestled a who’s who list of legends, one name that his eluded his resume is NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. When asked about a showdown with Shaq, Show said, “I wouldn’t be surprised if you see Shaq and I square off at some point, in something, somewhere. Whether it’s a Krispy Kreme donut eat off, a free throw contest….somewhere, him and I are gonna have to draw a line in the sand and figure out what’s what.”

The rivalry between the two big men started in 2009 when Shaq served as the Raw guest host. They met again in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32. During the 2016 ESPY Awards, the two agreed to a bout at WrestleMania 33 and teased the match on social media throughout the winter. However, the match never materialized.
