Bryan defeated Styles to capture the title last Tuesday on SmackDown, turning heel in the process. Bryan kicked the Phenomenal One in the balls to set up the running knee and pinfall victory. After the bout Bryan rubbed salt in the wound of Styles, continuing to kick the man while he was down.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, Bryan explained his actions and declared the old Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement “dead.”
