PBC Announces 2019 Schedule On FOX/FS1, Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia On PPV



Premier Boxing Champions rolled out numerous world champions in front of the media to announce several big fights in 2019.

In a special press event in Los Angeles, PBC announced the full schedule of fights taking place on FOX and Fox Sports 1 (FS1) for 2019. A number of world champions were announced to fight on either network, such as welterweight world champions Errol Spence Jr., Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter as well as IBF super middleweight champion Jose Uzcategui and WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz.

The lone FOX pay-per-view event that was announced for March 16 is Spence’s IBF welterweight title defense against current WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia. The fight has been in the works for several weeks and has been building up since the midway point of 2018. This will be the first pay-per-view main event for both Spence and Garcia.
