One Bout, Two Fighters Added To Golden Boy MMA: Liddell vs. Ortiz III
There have been a few more changes made to this months Golden Boy MMA: Liddell vs. Ortiz III card, with all of the alterations affecting the swing bouts.
The first of those changes is an addition to the card as UFC veteran Tom Gallacchio faces Jason Manly in a swing bout. Manly is a training partner of the aforementioned Liddell, while Gallacchio is competing for the first time since getting cut by the UFC after a loss to James Krause at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale.
Two late replacement fighters have been added to the card, with the first being James Barnes replacing Cleber Luciano against Alberto Morales. Barnes does have big show experience and has previously fought in Bellator MMA, while Morales is competing for the first time since getting cut by the UFC after a loss to Manny Bermudez at UFC On Fox 28.
That other late replacement change to the swing bouts will see Leandro Gomes replace Mike Segura against Westin Wilson. Gomes is going to be making his North American MMA debut in this bout, while Wilson is a Bellator MMA veteran who is competing for the first time in over a year.
Golden Boy MMA: Liddell vs. Ortiz III is scheduled for Saturday, November 24 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on pay-per-view.
