Report: Belal Muhammad Faces Geoff Neal At UFC Fight Night Brooklyn
A welterweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Brooklyn according to Mark La Monica of Newsday as Belal Muhammad faces Geoff Neal.
Muhammad (14-2-0) will enter the encounter while in the midst of a four fight winning streak and the fighter hasn’t suffered a defeat in nearly two years. Muhammad has seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish. Muhammad is a former Titan Fighting Championships Welterweight Champion, defeating Steve Carl to win the gold via fourth round TKOat Titan FC 38.
Neal (10-2-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Brian Camozzi and Frank Camacho. Neal also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Chase Waldon by first round TKO. Neal hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Kevin Holland at Xtreme Knockout 34.
UFC Fight Night Brooklyn takes place on Saturday, January 19 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
