Report: Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos Injured, Off UFC Fight Night Beijing
The UFC Fight Night Beijing card has taken a hit according to MMA Fighting as Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos has suffered a knee injury and has been pulled from the card, where he was scheduled to fight Jingliang Li.
There is no word at this time as to how long Dos Santos is going to be out of action for, but more should be known as the injury heals up. Li is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for him to fight.
Li (15-5-0) has won five of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the five pack of Daichi Abe, Anton Zafir, Bobby Nash, Frank Camacho and Zak Ottow. Li is back in Beijing for the first time since UFC Fight Night Beijing 2017, where he defeated the aforementioned Ottow by first round TKO. Li has picked up fifteen victories as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO, five coming by way of submission and five by decision.
UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 24 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
