Report: Sasha Banks Dealing With Back Injury

An update on Sasha Banks.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Banks is currently dealing with a back injury. It’s still unknown how serious the injury is. Banks was pulled from Mixed Match Challenge on Sept. 21. She was scheduled to team with Bobby Lashley and was replaced by Mickie James.

Banks last wrestled at a WWE Live Event on Sept. 9 in Mississippi. She last wrestled on Raw on Sept. 3, teaming with Bayley to defeat Ember Moon and Dana Brooke.

She is currently being advertised for the Oct. 20 WWE Live Event in Portland. As always, the card is subject to change.

Prior to her injury, Banks was involved in an on-again, off-again relationship with Bayley. The storyline has kept Banks occupied most of the year with the direction changing seemingly every week. It appeared as if the two were headed for a showdown at WrestleMania, but a one-on-one match on pay-per-view never came to fruition. After counseling, the two eventually made up, with Banks declaring her love for Bayley in July. They have been a regular team ever since.

Fightful will continue to provide updates on Sasha Banks as they become available.
