Jeff Hardy: I Don’t Consider Myself A Hall Of Famer
Jeff Hardy staying humble.
“The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy has been in the pro wrestling game since the 90’s alongside his brother Matt and the two have racked up the accolades as a team but they both have also also found success as singles wrestlers. Jeff went on to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times, capture the World Heavyweight Champion twice, been the WWE Champion and has one every other title that there is to hold in WWE as he earned the Grand Slam honor earlier this year.
With all of the success that Jeff Hardy has had throughout his career as a tag team and singles wrestler, he does recognize that one day he and his brother Matt will be WWE Hall Of Famers but he does not think of himself in that light in a humbling way. Jeff uttered those sentiments when WWE’s camera crew followed him around on the day of his Hell In A Cell match against Randy Orton last Sunday.
“Being in WWE, right now, 2018, 41-years of age and it just feels right and I know this is where Matt and I started back in… I think we signed developmental deals in ‘97, ‘98, something like that. Anyway, it started a long time ago and it was only right for us to come back and end it where it started so and that’s what I’m looking forward to.” Jeff continued, “When people mention future Hall Of Famer I never really… I don’t consider myself that or I don’t think about that a lot but the fact that we probably will be Hall Of Famers is pretty cool and I wanna do the best I possibly can and its just amazing for things to be going so good right now – for WWE to be standing behind me through thick and thin, and for me I hope I’m giving it back and making up for all the wrongs.” Hardy said.
During Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy’s Hell In A Cell match, there was a moment that made viewers watching from home and those present inside of the AT&T Center cringe as Orton twisted a screwdriver through Hardy’s ear-hole. Fightful put together an article consisting of reactions to that moment and you can view that by clicking here.
