Kane Discusses How HIs Appearance At Super Show-Down Came About

Kane’s appearance at WWE Super Show-Down has been in the works for at least a month.

As the Undertaker announced on Raw, Kane will be in his corner against Triple H, cornered by Shawn Michaels in Australia on Oct. 6.. Speaking to Knox News, Kane, better known to political fans as Glenn Jacobs, stated that he was approached about the idea prior to being elected Mayor of Knox County on Aug. 2.

“Basically, WWE contacted me, and they wanted to do a really big show, or series of shows, that they wanted to do,” Jacobs said on Wednesday morning. “Of course, I was like, ‘Hey man, Vince (McMahon), I’m most likely going to be mayor,’ and (Australia) was the arrangement we came up to.”

As previously reported, WWE will be donating $100,000 to Knoxville Public Safety at the request of Kane for his appearance in Australia. The donation will be made in January 2019 at a Live Event in Knoxville.

WWE Super Show-Down takes places on Oct. 6. Fightful will provide live coverage of the event.
