Goldberg Weighs In On Brock Lesnar Returning To UFC, And Hulk Hogan Being Reinstated Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

Goldberg sits down and chops it up.

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg’s comeback run in WWE ended last year when his three month reign as Universal Champion was seized by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. Just one year after hanging up his pro wrestling boots for the foreseeable future, Goldberg headlined the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame class. Goldberg has admitted that he has not been keeping up with the current WWE product but a product that he does have his attention is UFC.

Goldberg was in attendance for UFC 226 this past July in Las Vegas to bare witness to the Daniel Cormier/Stipe Miocic UFC Heavyweight Championship bout. The WWE Hall Of Famer got to see a man who he is very familiar very with in Brock Lesnar step back into the octagon and go chest-to-chest with the then-newly-crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. Brock has since reentered the USADA testing pool to get cleared to compete in UFC once again. Goldberg spoke in-detail about Brock’s reemergence back into the octagon when he sat down with ‘Inside The Ropes’.

“Absolutely [Brock is great]. Show me another guy who can do it. Show me another professional wrestler, professional football player or [a] guy 51-years old that’s not a professional race-car driver that can drive up the hill of Goodwood. Now I did hit the wall but it is what it is. You gotta have cojones, you gotta have special ability and that desire to do certain things.” Goldberg said. “Brock is a different human being. Brock’s a guy who reinvents himself all the time and who capitalizes on opportunities that others don’t have the cojones to capitalize on.”

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion also briefly shared his thoughts on Hulk Hogan being reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame after Hogan has been on the outs with WWE since the racist remarks he made were recorded and posted online for the public to hear. Goldberg simply stated that if WWE did not believe in second chances then they would not have brought Hogan back.

“Well if WWE didn’t think it could be a positive thing he never would’ve been reinstated.” He concluded.
