Report: Aaron Pico Faces Leandro Higo At Bellator 206
A bantamweight division attraction is in the works for next months Bellator 206 according to Brian Martin of The Orange County Register as Aaron Pico faces Leandro Higo.
Pico (3-1-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA and enters the bout on a three fight winning streak. Pico’s lone professional MMA defeat came in his pro MMA debut to Zach Freeman via first round submission at Bellator 180. Pico has yet to escape the first round as a professional MMA fighter, with his longest bout lasting just under four minutes.
Higo (18-4-0) has won just one of three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Joe Taimanglo via unanimous decision at Bellator 184. Higo has previously challenged for the Bellator MMA Bantamweight Title, losing to Darrion Caldwell by first round submission at Bellator 195. Higo is also a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Bantamweight Champion, defeating Steven Peterson to win the gold at LFA 1.
