Report: Matt Hardy To Go Through Rehabilitation For Injuries

Matt Hardy is reportedly in pain but not retiring yet.

Last week, Matt Hardy had some fans worried with a couple tweets. The first tweet thanked his fans who had been there to support him throughout his career and then he tweeted about his pelvis and lower back fusing together and that being a result of his top-rope leg drop. Many fans thought Hardy was signaling that he will be retiring.

According to Wrestling Observer, those were not retirement tweets but Hardy has been in pain from the injuries. The report also said Hardy will be going through rehabilitation to address the pain he’s experiencing.

Hardy has been wrestling in the Raw Tag Team division with his partner Bray Wyatt including a run as Raw Tag Team Champions. Last week on Raw, the two of them lost to the Revival who have been focused on being the best team in the world. Currently there’s no Raw Tag Team Championship match scheduled for SummerSlam.

Fightful Wrestling will be monitoring the situation with Hardy and there’s live coverage, discussion, and a recapping podcast each week for Raw. The same will be done for SummerSlam.
