Exclusive: Thunder Rosa Details How She Began Working For Lucha Underground And Ring Of Honor

Thunder Rosa provides some insight into how she got started with ROH and Lucha Underground.

On August 18th, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T’s wrestling promotion ‘Reality Of Wrestling’ will be presenting ‘Ladies Night Out 3′ which will be streamed live on Title Match Wrestling from the ‘World Gym Arena’ in Texas City, TX. Competing on that card is the former GRPW Lady Luck Champion Thunder Rosa or better known to some as “Kobra Moon” from Lucha Underground.

Thunder Rosa will be going one-on-one with Sahara 7 at ‘Ladies Night Out 3’ and to promote the show she spoke with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and as the discussion between the two parties rolled on, Thunder Rosa was asked about how she got started with Lucha Underground and Ring Of Honor. Rosa stated that she was discovered by Lucha Underground in 2015 which is the same year she was nominated for the ‘Southern California Rookie Of The Year’ award and during that time period she was brought in to L.U. as Kobra Moon, the leader of the ‘Reptile Tribe’.

“Yeah they found me, pretty much. I was at a show in Southern California and they approached me actually after they saw me performing so, I was at the right place at the right time”. She said.

Thunder Rosa recently worked Ring Of Honor’s shows in the Texas area. She went on to speak about how she was able to work with ROH and is hopeful that she will be able to work with the company again.

“I talked to a couple people about possibly working for them and, you know they have you contact this person and the other person has you contact that other person and, again, everything lined up pretty well and I was able to be contacted by them to do this show here in San Antonio and the one in Dallas which I’m really happy about.” Thunder Rosa said. “When I participate they give me really good feedback, and hopefully I work with them in the near future.”
