WWE Smackdown 7/17 Viewership Up For Second Week In A Row
Both Smackdown and Raw had a solid week of viewership.
Last week, Smackdown was up in viewers on a week Raw saw record lows and this week Raw’s viewership bounced back significantly. According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s Smackdown continued to go up in viewers with 2,293,000 viewers. The ratings have not been that high since June 19th.
This week, Raw was bumped in the rankings by the MLB All Star Weekend activities. Smackdown was not bumped by the All Star Game but only because the game was on network television and thus not part of the original cable rankings. Smackdown was ranked number one among those shows and supported a .74 rating in the 18 to 49 year old demographics.
On YouTube, none of the videos passed the 1 million view mark. The videos with the most views were the funeral for Team Hell No with 888,000 views, Jeff Hardy and Shinsuke Nakamura’s match with 786,000 views, and AJ Styles versus Andrade Almas with 633,000 views. No other Smackdown videos were above 500,000 views.
