Debut And Three-Way To The Grave Match This Week On Lucha Underground
Mil Muertes claimed two more victims on Lucha Underground.
Wednesday was the third episode of Lucha Underground’s fourth season and saw a debut, a new feud, and an important Grave Consequences match.
In the first match of the episode, Jack Evans declared a “Put up or Shut up” challenge which was answered by independent wrestler and Lucha Underground debutant XO Lishus (also known as Sonny Kiss). Lishus defeated Jack Evans after a top-rope face buster.
Pentagon Dark came to the ring after the first match to talk about the great victories he had in the first two episodes of season four. Cage attacked him and declared he’s coming for the Lucha Underground Championship.
In the main event, Mil Muertes defeated Jeremiah Crane and Fenix in a Three-Way to the Grave match. Crane was put into a casket by an interfering Ivelisse and Fenix was placed in a casket by Mil Muertes. After these Grave Consequence matches, wrestlers usually are not seen on television for a while.
The following is an excerpt from the coverage provided by Fightful’s Carlos Toro.
Muertes hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Fenix. Fenix then chops Muertes but Muertes slams Fenix to the mat. Muertes runs the ropes but Fenix then surprises Muertes by hitting him with a rolling pop-up cutter. Muertes recovers and then chokeslams Fenix to the coffin. Fenix recovers, goes to the top rope and hits a drop kick onto Muertes. Fenix goes to the top rope once more but Muertes hits a flatliner on Fenix. Muertes opens another coffin, drags Fenix and places him inside the open coffin, closes it and wins the match.
