The Briscoes Miss ROH: State of the Art San Antonio, The Kingdom Pulls Double Duty

Travel issues prevented Jay and Mark Briscoe from headlining ROH: State of the Art San Antonio on Friday. The ROH tag team champions were scheduled to team with Killer Elite Squad against the Bullet Club in the main event.

The travel issues appeared to be last-minute as ROH didn’t make mention of the Briscoe’s missing the show. 90-minutes prior to the show going living on Honor Club, the company’s Twitter account was still promoting Mark and Jay in the main event.

Matt Taven and Vinny Marseglia of The Kingdom took their place. Taven and Marseglia worked the opening match as well, defeating The Boys. Bullet Club members The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, and Adam Page emerged victorious in the eight-man tag main event.

The San Antonio crowd didn’t seem to mind the swap, staying hot for the action all night.

ROH will be in Dallas on Saturday night for their State of the Art Dallas event. As of now, the Briscoes are scheduled to defend their tag team titles against the Killer Elite Squad.
