UFC Boise’s Rick Glenn Looks To Put The Pressure Dennis Bermudez
Former WSOF Featherweight Rick Glenn steps back into the Octagon this July at UFC Fight Night Boise, taking on TUF alumni Dennis Bermudez.
It is going to practically be a hometown fight for Glenn, but the fighter is surprised no one has tried getting many tickets from him yet.
“Yeah…super happy, I’ve been asking to get on that card for months. I’m just glad it finally worked out, No ones hit me up yet (for tickets). Its kind of a change of pace, my wife’s going and a friend and that’s about it,” says Glenn in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.
This fight will serve as an important one for Glenn, because a win will put the fighter over the .500 mark in the UFC and a loss will knock him below it.
There have been some rumors on unrest at Team Alpha Male in recent months, but Glenn says everything is good in California.
“Its good, everyone’s here grinding. There’s a lot of up and comers, there’s people you will know from all over the world coming in. We’ve got a fighter house, there’s a huge fitness facility on the other side of this academy. A lot of up and comers, a lot of guys in the UFC. The energy is always high, we’re obligated to come in here with a good attitude and put in the work. Everyone’s like minded and positive, we’re all trying to reach that same goal…chase the dream,” says Glenn.
UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 14 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Junior Dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
