Shorty Torres Wins UFC Debut When Opponent Knocks Himself Out With Sheamus’ White Noise
Well, that didn't go the way Jarred Brooks wanted at UFC Utica.
The highly touted flyweight prospect took on another in the form of Jose "Shorty" Torres on Friday at UFC Utica. During the course of the back-and forth battle, the accomplished wrestler in brooks lifted Torres and attempted to slam him with a version of "White Noise," a signature move of WWE Superstar Sheamus. Unfortunately for Brooks, things didn't go as planned.
A shame that Brooks knocked himself out, it's also perhaps his second loss in the UFC that could have been prevented, as he was on the wrong end of a split decision to Deiveson Figueiredo back in October. This puts him at 1-2 in the UFC, where he very well could have been 3-0. It seems as if Brooks has picked up the unlucky Flyweight torch that Ian McCall left behind upon his retirement.
You can see Sheamus' version of the White Noise below. He's not knocked himself out with it yet. You know what they say, anything can happen in the WWE, and apparently, anything can happen in the UFC as well.
