Raw 5/28 Viewership Drops Significantly In All Three Hours
Raw lost over 200 thousand viewers since last week.
Raw ratings have been falling since mid-April and in the last week 200,000 more viewers fell off of their average. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Raw averaged between 2,300,000 and 2,593,000 viewers over the three hours. Last week had a high of nearly 2.8 million viewers. The ratings at the end of May in 2017 were slightly higher.
Hour 1: 2,593,000 viewers with 800 thousand in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 2: 2,591,000 viewers with 790 thousand in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 3: 2,300,000 viewers with 710 thousand in the 18-49 year old demographic.
The fall off in viewership has happened at the same time of the NBA Playoffs. The Western Conference Finals game seven was on Monday and started about an hour after Raw started. The 18 to 49 year old demographic was nearly half of what Raw got the week after WrestleMania and the NBA Playoffs have supported high numbers in that demographic the last few weeks.
Viewership came out later this week because of the Memorial Day holiday. At this time, four videos have more than one million views. Nia Jax's exhibition of armbar defense has 1.5 million views, two videos with Finn Balor and Braun Strowman have at least 1.4 million views, and the Intercontinental Championship match had over 1 million views.
