Juan Archuleta Faces Robbie Peralta At Bellator 201
A featherweight division attraction is slated for the forthcoming Bellator 201 card as Juan Archuleta is going to see action against Robbie Peralta.
Archuleta (18-1-0) is currently undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated William Joplin by unanimous decision at Bellator 195. Archuleta is a former King Of The Cage Featherweight Champion, defeating Jordan Griffin at KOTC: Destructive Intent to claim the gold. Archuleta hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with the lone loss coming to Andres Ponce at the World Series Of Fighting 19 in March of 2015.
Peralta (19-8-0-1NC) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout, despite having won just one of his last five fights. Peralta also won four of eight during his UFC tenure, with those victories coming over Mike Lullo, Jason Young, Estevan Payan and Rony Jason. Peralta returns to action for the first time in almost a year, as his last bout came against Shad Smith in August of 2017.
Bellator 201 takes place on Friday, June 29 from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California with Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Alejandra Lara headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
