Will Ospreay Weighs On Wanting To Transition Into NJPW’s Heavyweight Division

Can Will find the will to survive in the heavyweight division?

"The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay has been a focal point in New Japan Pro Wrestling's Junior Heavyweight division since he signed with the company in April of 2016. Ospreay has won the 'Best Of The Super Juniors' tournament which is currently underway as of this writing and he is a two-time and current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Ospreay has taken down seemingly everyone in the Junior Heavyweight division and his next test will present itself in the form of the winner of the 2018 'Best Of The Super Juniors' tournament; that is if Ospreay does not win the tournament himself. Ospreay recently took to Twitter to host a Q&A session for fans who wanted to get some insight into the thoughts of the "Sky King".

Ospreay noted that he loves the junior heavyweight division but does have a goal to one day main event Wrestle Kingdom which is a spot on the card that is reserved for the heavyweight competitors of the company.

Will Ospreay did mix it up with Kazuchika Okada at NJPW's 46th Anniversary show in a Champion versus Champion match in which he stood his ground although he was unsuccessful in trying to best Okada. A Twitter user then added that he guesses Marty Scurll was right when referring to Marty saying he was going to be the individual to change the landscape of the junior heavyweight division and Will Ospreay had the following to say about his long-time rival:
