Fight Size Update: ‘ICW’ And PROGRESS Shows Possibly Airing On The WWE Network, Alberto El Patron Becomes An American Citizen, More

Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the evening of May 25th, 2018.

– According to Dave Meltzer in his latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, talks have resumed regarding WWE airing PROGRESS and 'ICW' shows on the WWE Network. The report noted that at one point there were talks of doing so in the past because of the working relationship that WWE Executive Vice President Triple H has established with the owners of the aforementioned U.K. wrestling promotions but now those talks are back on. Last month Triple H spoke with The Mirror and stated that some big announcements will be made during the second annual WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament next month in London.


– "The Ravishing Russian" Lana recently qualified for the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match that will take place at the 'Money In The Bank' PPV on June 17th. Lana recently started up an Instagram Live stream and stated that she has been practicing taking bumps off ladders of various sizes.


– Daniel Bryan joined Sheamus on episode 33 of Sheamus' 'Celtic Warrior Workouts'.


– MMA reporter Ariel Helwani noted on Twitter that former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Hager plans to make his Bellator MMA debut towards the end of this year.


WWE has uploaded a video onto their official YouTube channel which takes a look at the field of competitors who will be vying for an opportunity to secure the final spot in the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match. Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ruby Riott, Mickie James, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Dana Brooke will do battle on the 5/28 edition of RAW for the chance to head to Chicago for 'Money In The Bank'.


– Mauro Ranallo has been making the rounds on the interview circuit ahead of his 'Bipolar Rock N' Roller' documentary that airs tonight on 'Showtime'. Mauro was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated and the Orlando Sentinel as he continues to advocate for mental health awareness.


– Former 3-time IWGP Tag Team Champion Davey Boy Smith Jr. will be present at 'Wigan Comic-Con' this weekend in England.


– Earlier this month Alberto El Patron gained his American citizenship after 10 years of trying to do so. Yesterday evening the 'Combate Americas' Twitter account shared photos of their former figurehead President being sworn in as a U.S. citizen.
