Bayley Says She Is Enjoying The Slow Build Of Her And Sasha Banks’ Feud
When will the payoff come?
Since January of this year the tension between Sasha Banks & Bayley has picked up and as the months progressed that tension peaked as the two superstars both have traded verbal and physical blows to one another. Their rivalry goes back to their NXT days where they had an NXT Women's Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn that made the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins tear up.
Recently Sasha Banks & Bayley have both attempted to make peace with one another but can never seemingly get on the same page and fans of WWE have complained on social media about the payoff to their feud needing to happen. Sky Sports caught up with "Everyone's Favorite Hugger" to get her thoughts on the feud with Sasha Banks and Bayley stated that she is enjoying the long and drawn out story that she is telling with "The Boss".
"When I was a kid watching wrestling that's kind of how it was," she told the Sky Sports. "You had these long feuds and storylines and you just got more and more interested and you wanted to see where it was going to go. You wanted to see the big blow-off match and I like that stuff because that's what I grew up watching. There are so many people on the roster, there's so much going on and there's so much content that we sometimes rush through things so maybe that's what we get used to and what we're expecting. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm a fan still but I'm not a viewer so perhaps I see it differently but I really enjoy what's going on. It's fun and I think it's going well."
The former RAW Women's Champion stated that she would love to have the payoff match with Sasha Banks at this year's SummerSlam PPV as it will have been three years since their highly-praised bout at TakeOver: Brooklyn.
On the latest edition of RAW despite their differences Bayley came to the aid of Sasha Banks as Banks was being jumped by the 'Riott Sqaud' while trying to get herself into the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match.
