Report: Several UFC Employees Held Up At Gunpoint In Brazil
Horror struck the UFC on May 10 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil because Brett Okamoto of ESPN is reporting that several UFC staff members were held up at gunpoint near the host hotel for UFC 224.
Okamoto also reports that nobody was injured or harmed during the incident and no fighters were involved in the robbery.

Just spoke to UFC president Dana White about an incident that is apparently ongoing right now in Brazil. White was just told several employees and others associated with UFC 224 were held up at gunpoint near the host hotel in Rio. No one hurt. Police involved now.

Some UFC employees definitely involved. Have not heard of any fighters involved as of right now (weigh-in is tomorrow morning). Those affected arecanceling stolen passports and credit cards. White told me security footage is being pulled.

Those affected by the robbery were reportedly canceling their stolen credit cards and are dealing with passport related issues after being robbed.
UFC President Dana White is in Brazil for the event and has told Brett Okamoto that security footage is being reviewed and the local authorities are involved as well.
