Fight Size Update: Fans Walk Out During The ‘Backlash’ Main Event, Brock Lesnar Not Advertised For Tonight’s RAW, Edge & Christian, More

Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the morning of May 7th, 2018.

– A singles match between Samoa Joe & Roman Reigns closed out last night's 'Backlash' PPV. The match was not received well by those in attendance inside of the 'Prudential Center' in Newark, NJ. Chants of "Rusev Day", "CM Punk", and "This is boring" rang out throughout the arena as the match progressed and there was footage that surfaced on social media that showed a number of fans leaving the building as the match between Joe and Reigns closed the show.


– Former RAW Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson shared a video onto his Instagram page of himself and his children having their own living room battle royal.


– Glenn "Kane" Jacobs recently won the local Republican primary in Knoxville, TN and is now in the running to become the next mayor of the city. FOX Business interviewed Jacobs and he discussed the changes that he will make if voted into the position as mayor of Knoxville.


– The New Day's Xavier Woods sent out a shaded message indirectly aimed at Hulk Hogan. Woods being the video game buff that he is was presented with an old Nintendo game by a Twitter user that had a number of WWE legends on the cover including Hulk Hogan. Woods noted that something about the game "doesn't sit right with him anymore".


– Filmmaker Brad Twigg released a preview for his 'WrestleMassacre' film which features former WWE talent Rene Dupree,  ECW legend Sandman, former 4-time TNA Women's Knockout Champion ODB, and other current and former in-ring performers. 


PWInsider reported that former World Heavyweight Champions Edge & Christian were in New Jersey for 'Backlash'. They did not appear on the show but their WWE Network series 'The Edge and Christian Show' has been announced for a second season.


– The inaugural winner of the revamped WWE Cruiserweight Championship TJP shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption being: "Am I 206 yet??? I got goals waiting on me…" 


– The current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is not being advertised for tonight's RAW in Uniondale, NY. Next week the sports-entertainment will be touring the United Kingdom and Lesnar is not scheduled for those shows either.


– 205 Live GM Drake Maverick announced two matches for this upcoming Tuesday's edition of 205 Live and those matches are: 

*  Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik vs. Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick 

* Buddy Murphy vs. Mustafa Ali 


– In the WWE Championship bout last night at 'Backlash', both AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura "low-blowed" one another to the point that they could not get to their feet to answer the referee's ten count. The official on the call, Jason Ayers, commented on his final decision via Twitter and shared that he had the safety of both competitors in mind which is why he counted them both out.
