Titus 'World-slide'.

In what was an action packed night in Saudi Arabia, one moment in particular seemingly stole the show. Entering in at the #39 spot in the 50-man 'Greatest Royal Rumble' match Titus O'Neil ran down the entrance ramp with a determined look on his face but that look of determination soon turned into a look of panic as O'Neil slipped and slid underneath the ring.

The moment was immediately turned into a meme and posted onto various social media platforms. 'Shockmaster', who took a famed fall himself even commented on O'Neil's fall noting that he was passing the torch on to the leader of 'Titus Worldwide'. The 'Post And Courier' caught up with Titus O'Neil and asked him how would he feel about possibly turning the moment into a storyline.

“I hope not,” he says. “I think the beauty in the whole thing is that they get it now. It happened, it was funny, and there are still ways we can create to be entertaining, but not necessarily dwell on it. It’s just like in life. Once I get over a situation, I’m over it. I’ll refer to it every once in a while, but I’m not going to harp on it.”

O'Neil stated that he knew the fall was going to garner the attention that it did and has and that once his peers knew he was safe, the jokes were about to come rolling in.

“Yeah, I sure did. I knew that once people realized that I was Ok, especially starting with my own locker room, then the jokes and the memes were going to start coming. Some of the memes I’ve seen are just so good. It’s been everywhere,” he says. “It will definitely live forever.”

The leader of 'Titus Worldwide' does not look at the moment as embarrassing as he is looking to capitalize off of it and it just presents an opportunity for him to do something that he has done his entire life; fall down and get back up.

“This presents a wonderful opportunity to just do what I’ve been doing throughout my life; fall down and get back up. It’s Ok to laugh at yourself. It’s great that WWE wanted to push the fact that I did get up and turn it into a positive thing. They know as well as anybody that it could have turned out completely different. That’ll definitely be implemented in some of my inspirational talks, that’s for sure. If I were a different type of person, I would have acted like that was my plan the whole time,” adds O’Neil. “Jennifer Hudson fell on the steps at the Oscars, so I’m in good company. I hope it opens up an endorsement from Slip ‘N Slide. Don’t forget we’ve got SummerSlam coming up.”
