Smackdown 2/24 Viewership Drops Two Weeks In A Row

Leading into the Greatest Royal Rumble, Smackdown viewership has dropped.

During a busy March and April, WWE had high ratings which culminated in the week following WrestleMania. The viewership for Smackdown dropped during the Superstar Shakeup last week somewhat but according to ShowBuzz Daily this week's Smackdown viewership dropped 200,000 to an average of 2,549,000 viewers.

The NBA Playoffs have been beating both Raw and Smackdown the last two weeks in terms of viewership and demographics. Smackdown was ranked third among cable original content and was only beat by two NBA games and only one was in the same time slot as Smackdown.

On YouTube, only one video from Smackdown earned more than one million views which was Naomi distracting the Bludgeon Brothers during Jimmy Uso's match against Rowan. Big Cass on Miz TV is close to one million views with 911,000 views.  The main event match and the Smackdown Women's Championship contract signing both received over 700,000 views. Usually Smackdown doesn't have as many million view videos as Raw but Smackdown typically has more videos over that mark.
