Raw 4/23 Viewership Continues To Drop
The WrestleMania 34 rating spike seems to have stopped.
For all of March and leading into April, Raw had some of the best and most consistently high ratings of the year. The show was continually averaging above 3 million viewers over three hours but that streak has stopped. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Raw averaged at least 3.2 million viewers over the first two hours while the third hour dipped to 2.8 million viewers.
Hour 1: 3,283,000 viewers with 1.09 million in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 2: 3,210,000 viewers with 1.09 million in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 3: 2,819,000 viewers with 970 thousand in the 18-49 year old demographic.
The 18 to 49 year old demographic took a hit as the NBA was holding its playoff during and after Raw. Based on demographics, usually all three hours of Raw are at the top of the rankings but this week the third hour was not even top five.
On the WWE YouTube, three videos received more than a million views. Ronda Rousey putting Mickie James in an armbar had 2 million views at this time. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the ring together ahead of their WWE Universal Championship match received 1.8 million views. Lastly, the match with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley taking on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens got above 1 million views.
