Frankie Edgar Defeats Cub Swanson For Second Time At UFC Atlantic City
It's not often you'll see two of the top five ranked UFC Featherweights taking second billing on a Fox Sports 1 Fight Night show, but Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson squared off once more time.
After dealing with the passing of his grandfather this week, and a loss just last month, the former UFC Lightweight Champion Edgar looked to rebound against a familiar foe in the form of Cub Swanson. Edgar found early success, cracking Swanson, but following up with a takedown attempt that couldn't land. Edgar would spend the next two rounds mixing effective leg kicks in with his superior speed and footwork on his way to a unanimous decision victory.
