Report: Sage Northcutt Battles Zak Ottow At UFC Fight Night Boise
A welterweight division attraction is the first bout set for UFC Fight Night Boise according to Fan Sided as Sage Northcutt is going to be in action against Zak Ottow.
Northcutt (10-2-0) is going to enter the contest in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Michel Quinones and Thibault Gouti. Northcutt has only suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of those losses came by way of submission. Northcutt also competed five times in the Legacy Fighting Championships, earning three wins by first round finish.
Ottow (16-5-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with the last bout being a victory over Mike Pyle at UFC 222. Ottow had seen his first three bouts in the UFC go the distance, while the last two fights have ended by KO/TKO. Ottow suffered three losses outside of the UFC auspices, but two of those defeats came to UFC veterans Mike Rhodes and Jacob Volkmann.
UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 14 from the Century Bank Arena in Boise, Idaho with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
