Ronda Rousey Did Professional Wrestling Training As Part Of Her Bachelorette Party
Ronda Rousey says her training started with a text message.
In an interview on Get Up!, Ronda Rousey revealed she was about to celebrate her bachelorette party with her friends Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir and decided to ask Triple H if she could get into the ring while in Orlando.
"I was kind of timid about reaching out. I really wanted to do it but there's no handbook for anything I've done so far like 'how do you event start that conversation.' So I sent a Triple H I was like 'hey, I'm having a bachelorette party…' All my girlfriends all moved out to Orlando so I was like 'can we come and train for a week together,'" said Rousey. "It was the greatest bachelorette party of all time and then I started training at home after that. I got bit by the bug," she continued.
The professional wrestling debut of Rousey will take place at WrestleMania 34 in a mixed tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for the event.
