Report: Petra Castkova Replacing Lena Ovchynnikova At Bellator 196

The Bellator 196 card has taken another hit as Lena Ovchynnikova is apparent injured and off the event, replacing her against Denise Kielholtz is Petra Castkova.

It was Kielholtz who made the announcement through Facebook:

Kielhotlz (1-1-0) earned her first professional MMA win last year at Bellator 188, defeating Jessica Middleton by first round submission. Kielhotlz made her professional MMA debut over two years ago at Torarica Summer Fights 1, suffering a first round submission loss to Juliete De Souza Silva. Kielhotlz has no amateur MMA experience to speak of, but she is also a highly decorated kick boxer.

Castkova (3-2-0) is going to be making her Bellator MMA debut in this bout, with four of the five fights the competitor has fought in going the distance. Castkova has only seen one of her professional MMA fights end with a finish, which was a TKO loss to Clara Ricignuolo at Oktagon 3. Castkova has yet to fight more than once in any MMA promotion, as she has competed in five separate organizations now.

Bellator 196 takes place on Friday, April 6 from the Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary with Ben Henderson and Roger Huerta headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
