– A number of fights have been announced for the untelevised portion of the April 7 Showtime Championship Boxing card. Below are the fights that were announced:

  • Emanuel Medina vs. Saul Corral
  • Ava Knight vs. Mayela Perez
  • Ahmed Mahmood vs. Sharone Carter

– All the combatants for the March 31 boxing card in Cardiff, Wales, had their weigh-ins and below are the weights of some of the notable bouts on the card, headlined by the WBA “super,” IBF and WBO heavyweight title unification. Fightful will have live coverage of Joshua vs. Parker.

  • Anthony Joshua (242.2 lbs.) vs. Joseph Parker (236.7 lbs.)
  • Alexander Povetkin (255 lbs.) vs. David Price (224 lbs.)
  • Ryan Burnett (117.8 lbs.) vs. Yonfrez Perez (117 lbs.)

– Former unified world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury sent a video message to David Price, who is fighting Alexander Povetkin on the Joshua vs. Parker card.

– Showtime Boxing released its latest SHO REPORT video, looking back on the Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz fight from March 3. That video can be seen below.

– In the event Canelo vs. GGG is cancelled, two likely replacements being mentioned are WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders and Demetrius Andrade. According to ESPN, one Vegas oddsmaker would set odds for Golovkin between -800 and -1200 vs. Saunders and -1000 to -1500 vs. Andrade.
