Report: Jessica-Rose Clark Faces Jessica Eye At UFC Fight Night Singapore
A women’s flyweight division affair is coming to the UFC Fight Night Singapore card according to MMA Fighting as #9 Jessica-Rose Clark faces #10 Jessica Eye.
Clark (9-4-0-1NC) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings. Clark has seen her last nine fights go the distance and it has been almost four years since the competitor got a finish. Clark also competed twice in Invicta FC competition, dropping fights to Pam Sorenson and Pannie Kianzad.
Eye (12-6-0-1NC) made her women’s flyweight division debut at UFC Fight Night St. Louis, defeating Kalindra Faria by split decision. Eye had previously competed in the UFC Bantamweight Division, earning a record of 1-5-0-1NC during her time there. Eye also spent some time competing in Bellator MMA, where she defeated then Bellator MMA Women’s Strawweight Champion Zoila Frausto with a standing arm triangle choke at Bellator 83 in December 2012.
UFC Fight Night Singapore takes place on Saturday, June 23 from a location to be announced in Singapore with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
