Smackdown 3/27 Viewership Down 300,000

Smackdown viewership lost some momentum.

The last few weeks, the viewership for Raw and Smackdown have been above average and the last two weeks of Smackdown were some of the highest of the past year. According to Showbuzz Daily, the average viewership on the March 27th episode of Smackdown was 2,576,000 viewers which was a big drop from the average of 2,888,000 viewers last week.

Among original cable shows, Smackdown outpaced most shows with average viewers and held tightly onto the 18 to 49 year old demographic. A couple news programs and the Home and Garden Television did similar numbers to Smackdown. On network television, the reboot of Roseanne premiered during the first hour of Smackdown and it received over 18 million viewers on average and also did well in the crucial 18 to 49 year old demographic.

On YouTube, only one video did over 1 million views which was Daniel Bryan ripping off his sweater and challenging Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to a tag team match at Wrestlemania 34. Besides that video, only footage from the matches received more than 500 thousand views.
