Report: Michel Prazeres Faces Zak Cummings At UFC Fight Night Chile
A welterweight division attraction is heading to the UFC Fight Night Chile card according to Cage Of Bones as Michel Prazeres faces Zak Cummings.
Prazeres (24-2-0) is going to be making his welterweight division debut in this fight and does so while riding a six bout winning streak. Prazeres had previously competed at lightweight in the UFC, earning a record of 8-2-0 in the division. Prazeres has also seen nine of his ten bouts in the UFC make it all the way into the third wound, with a first round submission win over Josh Burkman at UFC Fight Night 106 serving as the lone bout that didn’t.
Cummings (21-5-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating Alexander Yakovlev and Nathan Coy. Cummings has competed at “Fight Night” events six times during his UFC tenure, earning a record of 4-2-0 in those encounters. Cummings also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 17, losing in the second round of the reality show to Dylan Andrews.
