Artem Lobov Considering Offers From Outside The UFC

Artem Lobov is back in action in just a few short weeks at UFC 223, fighting Alex Cacaeres in the featured prelim on UFC Fight Pass.

The fighter has been with the UFC for over two years now, but may start entertaining offers from other entities outside of the promotion.

“Perhaps boxing or K-1. I don’t lack any offers,” Lobov said on BJ Penn Radio. “I have a lot of offers on the table. Some very good financial offers for more money than I’m actually currently getting in the UFC.”

Lobov currently sports a 2-4-0 record in the promotion, with those victories coming over Chris Avila and Teruto Ishihara.

One thing that Lobov likes is to have a future plan in place in case of a UFC exit one day, which is why he entertains offers from other promotions.

“UFC, this is the premier organization. This is where the toughest matchups are and this is what I’m always after,” he stated. “Of course it’s a place where I want to be. But I was gonna prepare that, if I was let go I had a plan of action in place. And I wasn’t gonna dwell on it, I wasn’t gonna be crying or begging or anything like that. I was ready to move on and tackle the next problem and see what happens next.”

UFC 223 takes place on Saturday, April 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
