Miz And Daniel Bryan ‘Shoot,’ Daniel Bryan Leaves Set

Things got real on Talking Smack, which is quickly becoming must-watch programming.

The Miz and Maryse were guests on Talking Smack Tuesday, and the Intercontinental Champion was immediately targeted by general manager Daniel Bryan. Bryan said that Miz wrestles like a coward and reminds him of what he perceived as a soft wrestler on the indies – a WWE styled wrestler who was afraid of getting hit. Bryan mentioned WWE has transformed since then, and that Apollo Crews impressed him more in a 5 minute loss.

Miz didn’t take kindly to Bryan’s comments and went off the deep end.

“I’m the coward in the wrestling ring. Let’s talk about cowards,” Miz said. “The reason I wrestle the way I do in the ring is I can do it day in, day out for ten-plus years. I have never, ever in my career been injured. I don’t get injured for six months to a year! I’m here each and every week! You sit there and call me a coward? Let me tell you about a coward. A guy who tells his WWE fans, the people that he loves that he’ll be back, ‘I promise you I’ll be back in one year’s time to reclaim this title.’ But you didn’t, did you Daniel?”

Daniel Bryan was quick to say if the WWE would allow him to come back, he would. Miz also didn’t mince words about that.

“You love wrestling, right? Why don’t you quit and go to the bingo halls with your indy friends? I need to talk to you real quick. You’re the one that calls me a coward, but you’re the one who doesn’t get in the WWE ring,” Miz screamed.

At this point, Bryan walked off the set, still being berated by Miz.

“Don’t you walk away from me, Daniel! I’m the one who loves the fans, who loves everyone and everything. You’re the one who gets up and walks away every single time! You’re the coward!,” Miz said before saying he deserved respect for making the Intercontinental title relevant and prestigious.
