– PWInsider has an update regarding the 'Ultimate Deletion' match that was filmed yesterday evening at the Hardy Compound in North Carolina. The site notes that referee Shawn Bennett will be officiating the match and former Impact Wrestling Swiss army knife Jeremy Borash was brought in to work on the shoot.
– During an NXT live event in Indianapolis this past weekend, one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish suffered a knee injury during The Undisputed Era's match against Heavy Machinery. It is now being reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline that Fish has indeed undergone knee surgery for minor tears in his ACL and MCL.
– WWE had a string of live events set for April 27th-29th, but with the announcement of their 'Greatest Royal Rumble' match in Saudi Arabia on the 29th of April, the live events for that weekend in Canada have been pushed back to a later date.
– Former WWE star Darren Young announced via Twitter that he would be partaking in a challenge on March 23rd that would require him to spend the night homeless for a greater cause.
– Scott Hall made a controversial comment yesterday afternoon about the late great Davey Boy Smith Sr. The family of Smith Sr. would respond to Hall which led to a Twitter war of sorts. We published an article about it which you can check out by clicking here.
– PWInsider is reporting that Impact Wrestling has changed the planned date for their 'Slammiversary' PPV due to WWE's 'Extreme Rules' PPV being on the same day, which is July 15th.
– Prior to Rich Swann announcing his retirement from pro wrestling, he got into a war of words with former 4-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion Nick Gage. Rich Swann made an indirect comment about Gage, stating how promoters would book a bank robber before they'd book him for just being accused of something. Gage, who served nearly 5 years in prison for robbing a PNC Bank in 2010 would catch wind of Swann's tweets and the situation went left from there.
– – At NXT TakeOver: War Games in November of 2017, Drew McIntyre suffered a torn bicep while taking a top rope DDT from Andrade "Cien" Almas, which has kept the former NXT Champion out of action up to this point. PWInsider is reporting that McIntyre has been at the WWE Performance Center working out, so he is nearing a return to the yellow-brand. McIntyre has stated in interviews that he is looking to return in-time for TakeOver: New Orleans on April 7th.
