MMA Personalities React To Jon Jones Suspension & Fine
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has received his punishment from the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) following a failed drug test in line with UFC 214.
The punishment has come in the form of his license being revoked by the CSAC and a financial penalty of $205,000.
Those from within the MMA community have shared their reaction to the news, starting with the man who was punished in Jon Jones:
I want to thank csac for taking the time and hearing my case, and executive officer Andy Foster for saying he believes me.

Jon Jones' entire case is built on the "you guys gotta believe me!" Defense. And while a lot of his arguments make logical sense, no commission can keep its authority if it just decides to take his word vs. the test.

DC’s will probably retire before Jones comes out of suspension. So who takes over the division necause it looks like everyone is beating everyone!?

look, I know there's this whole other guy, but it's impossible to suppress the reflexive terror at seeing the headline "CALIFORNIA FINES JON JONES $205,000"

While the CSAC portion of the punishment is complete, a suspended Jones now has to wait to see what kind of punishment will get handed out by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
