Report: Rashad Coulter Faces Allen Crowder At UFC 225

A heavyweight division attraction could be on its way to the upcoming UFC 225 card according to the Chicago Tribune as Rashad Coulter may battle Allen Crowder.

Coulter (8-3-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping bouts to the duo of Chase Sherman and Tai Tuivasa. Coulter has yet to see any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and only one of them made it into the third round. Coulter also competed in Bellator MMA, defeating Jeremiah O’Neal by first round TKO at Bellator 135 in March of 2015.

Crowder (9-3-0-1NC) is also winless thus far during his UFC tenure, suffering a first round knockout loss to Justin Willis at UFC 218. Crowder also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8, defeating Don’Tale Mayes by third round TKO. Crowder also suffered two defeats prior to signing with the UFC last year and one of those came to fellow UFC fighter Walt Harris.

UFC 225 takes place on Saturday, June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
