Thekla Challenges Athena To ROH Women’s World Title Match

Athena has rejected Thekla’s ROH Women’s World Title challenge.

Athena and Thekla continue their argument from after their match at STARDOM New Year Dream.

At STARDOM New Year Dream, a featured women’s tag team bout took place between Athena and Thekla and the team of Mina Shirakawa and Tay Melo. Athena and Thekla would bicker after securing the victory.

After the bout, Athena spoke to Emily Mae backstage about her STARDOM debut, but was quickly interrupted by an irate Thekla. After some back and forth about the finish with the ‘Forever Champion’ Thekla suggested Athena put her ROH Women’s World Title on the line in a singles match, with the champion being dismissive of the challenge. Thekla noted that the pair will see.
