The Better Than You Bay Bay saga is seemingly over.

At AEW Worlds End. MJF faced Adam Cole for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. MJF won the ring in 2019 and has successfully retained it every year ever since. Cole earned a shot at MJF by beating Kyle O’Reilly after they won the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal.

Once MJF and Cole finally clashed at AEW Worlds End, they threw everything they had at each other. The bitter rivals busted each other open. In the end, MJF tried to hit Cole with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but Cole countered. Cole went to hit MJF with the ring, but MJF caught up with a low blow and scored the win with the Heatseeker.

When MJF grabbed a chair and tried to attack Cole after the bell, Roderick Strong made his return, as he appeared for the first time since he lost to MJF at AEW Full Gear. MJF left the ring, but Kyle O’Reilly stopped him from leaving. Strong and O’Reilly hit MJF with a high-low. Cole then got some revenge by hitting MJF with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Cole, Strong, and O’Reilly then stood tall with Mike Bennett and Matt Taven.

Cole previously had a run as a team with MJF. As Better Than You Bay Bay, they won the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Cole turned on MJF at AEW Worlds End 2023. MJF attacked Cole at AEW Double or Nothing. Cole targeted MJF upon his return at AEW WrestleDream, and he spent the next several weeks trying to get a match with MJF. Strong wound up facing MJF at AEW Full Gear, and MJF beat him.
