Charlie Dempsey gifts NXT Heritage Cup Title match to Lexis King.
‘Tis the season for giving and NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey has gifted Lexis King a second shot at the coveted trophy. The match will take place on December 24. That is, as long as Lexis King can survive a workout with Charlie Dempsey beforehand.
The match was made on December 10 after Lexis asked Charlie for a match. Charlie answered the challenge while Lexis was talking to Ryan Leaf, who was a guest at NXT.
Lexis King had previously challenged for the championship with William Regal in his corner. It is not known who will be in his corner this time around.
