Ryan Leaf Appears On WWE NXT
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf appeared on the December 10th episode of NXT.
He was shown backstage speaking to Lexis King.
Leaf said that King is relatable because everyone is seeing his story play out. King revealed that Leaf was the one who advised him to go to Minnesota for NXT Deadline despite him not having a match on the show.

Leaf was the second overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. He played in only 25 games and retired at the age of 26 ahead of the 2002 season.
Leaf is part of the CW college football broadcast team, calling games in the Pac-12.
