The working relationship with AEW and NJPW has been built up in recent years, and the collaboration has led to the two companies, along with ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM, participating in the Wrestle Dynasty event on January 5. Several crossover matches have already been announced for the show.

ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara took to Twitter/X to say that he wants to fight with NJPW’s DOUKI, though he did not explicitly name Wrestle Dynasty as the place.

DOUKI, the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, has said that he wants to face Sammy Guevara at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.

As of this writing, a match between Guevara and DOUKI has not been confirmed.
